Do NOT rub Scruffer's belly. He can't stand this heat wave more than me, the long-haired kitty. He is hiding under the far corner of the guest bed to make sure no one gets any dumb ideas - such as disturbing him.
I learned my lesson already today... I slowly sauntered over to meet him and he slowly hissed at me. Too hot to move quickly.
